Brecks Cottage offers superb bed and breakfast accommodation in an unspoilt rural area. Family run, our service is more personal than a hotel.   Guest house accommodation within Brecks Cottage is strictly no smoking.

We are close to the Nottinghamshire / Lincolnshire border in the heart of Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood Country.  Newark-on-Trent being an antique collector's paradise and the home of the Newark and Nottinghamshire showground. Our rural bed and breakfast is set among miles of unspoilt, open countryside for walking, cycling and riding, yet under 5 miles from the A1.

Situated within our bed and breakfast there are bedrooms, available as twin, double and triple.  Two of our rooms, the Mint and Primrose Rooms offer twin/double with a third single bed on the mezzanine level.  Each of our rooms offers superb views of the gardens and surrounding countryside.  All guest house accommodation within Brecks Cottage has been suitably designed to accommodate all groups from couples to families, contractors.

Within our bed and breakfast cottage, we offer free Wi-Fi access and multi-channel television through Freeview.  We are rated by the English Tourism Council a four star rated guest house, for offering excellent customer service, catering for special diets (for example: vegetarian, gluten free) and well appointed rooms.

Please note that while we would love you to visit us, we are not on a public transport route and a taxi is necessary to get here from train stations (a taxi rank is available at Newark North Gate station).  The nearest railway stations are Newark North Gate and Retford (on the East Coast Main Line) and Newark Castle (from Nottingham and Lincoln).

Pets are welcome but must be kept on leads at all times and not left in rooms unattended.
